TOYAMA
Only around 1% of international visitors to Japan go to Toyama. The Prefectural Government wants to raise awareness of Toyama as a travel destination and the region’s rich craft heritage. TOKYO
From 2023 to 2025, I have worked with Tokyo Tourism to highlight the city through two key angles: art and culture, and campaigns showcasing Tokyo as a welcoming destination for all travellers, with a focus on LGBTQ+ visitors.

CULTURE GATE TO JAPAN
The Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan, ran a cultural promotion project called CULTURE GATE to JAPAN with contemporary art installations at international airports and cruise terminals in Japan in 2021 and 2022. Examples of coverage:

TOYAMA CRAFT AWARD
The International KOGEI Award in TOYAMA 2020 was an open-call international exhibition. I was commissioned to promote the competition internationally to attract entries. Sixty pieces of coverage were achieved resulting in 709 candidate work from artists, craftspeople, and designers from 62 countries and regions being submitted for screening for this exhibition.
